Mission and Vision

It is our belief that each child is a unique individual and can be educated to the fullest of his or her ability to become a self-motivated life-long learner who uses information effectively and efficiently. It is our belief each student can achieve this goal through participation in our library program, which fosters learning and literacy that leads to high academic achievement, by introducing library information skills, independent reading and learning, and collaboration throughout the school.

Campus Library Mission Statement

The Mockingbird Library Program will provide activities and resources that will assist students and staff in becoming effective and discriminating users of information, provide a wide range of quality children's literature, teach information literacy skills within the context of the curriculum, improve parental involvement and customer service, develop lifelong learners and foster a love of reading.
